MSL celebrates individual creativity, community and place. We create performances, exhibitions and installations that engage and inspire people, and transform communities.
Beach Of Dreams
Beach of Dreams is a country-wide celebration of the UK coastline. The people of Hastings and Rother will take part in activities celebrating our very own coast and become part of the international Beach of Dreams 2025 celebrations. MSL want to make sure everyone who wants to join in has the chance to.

MSL is delighted to be the producer of Momento Mori, a new site-specific performance/installation by artist and director, Geraldine Pilgrim.
Geraldine has been awarded an ACE Research and Development grant for the piece that integrates visual and performance imagery with sung voice and live music in partnership with Highgate Cemetery.
MSL’s digital arts and heritage project, Tressell’s Children, was a ground-breaking project inspired by working-class experiences in Hastings and Medway. The people of the towns created an immersive museum experience of working-class lives.
History Detectives was the sister to our Tressell’s Children project.
Over the summer of 2023 we uncovered the histories of migration and the stories of people who have travelled through Medway and made it their home as well as finding out something of the hopes and dreams of those who live there now.
MSL Digital creates performances, workshops, exhibitions, and installations that celebrate heritage, community and place. We bring digital solutions to heritage narratives to provide a more immersive, inclusive experience.
