Amsterdam Low Tide Talk, Sunday 2nd March

Join us on Sunday 2nd March, when the wreck of the Amsterdam will be visible at the March low tide. We will hold a talk about the history of the primordial forest and the wreck of the Amsterdam, as well as nearby shipwreck, the Anne. To book your free ticket, please click here. Itinerary:
7.00am – Meet at the platform overlooking the beach near the blue railway bridge.
7.25am – Tim McDonald of Hastings Shipwreck Museum will give a talk on the story of the Amsterdam and the fascinating natural history of the site where it is beached.
9.30/10.00am – You may wish to join us for breakfast at Oceanside Café on the beach at Glyne Gap.
Access:
- Along the coast path from West St Leonards or Ravenside Retail Park or Bexhill or
- Via the railway bridge at the end of Bridge Way off the Bexhill Road (A259).
